ÖZET
Bu makale C.P. Snow’un tanımladığı “iki kültür” tartışması üzerine eleştirel bir incelemedir. Kültür kavramının metafizik ve antropolojik tanımlarının ardından “iki kültür”ün ne anlama geldiği tarihsel bağlamı içinde açıklanır. Doğa bilimleri ve sosyal bilimler arasında sürdürülen iki kültür çatışmasının sonuçları çağdaş dünyada insanlığın durumu açısından tartışılır ve bu çatışmanın bir çözümü olarak “üçüncü kültür” önerilir.

ABSTRACT
This article is a critical research on the conflict of “the two cultures” described by C. P. Snow. After giving the metaphysical and anthropological definitions of the concept of “culture”, the meaning of “the two cultures” is explained in its historical context. The results ofthe conflict of the two cultures ongoing between natural sciences and social sciencesare discussed with regard to the state of human being in the contemporary world and “the third culture” is offered as a solution to this conflict.
