ÖZET
Bu makalede, Sophokles'in ünlü Antigone eserini yorumlamaya çalışacağız. Antigone karakterinin hem dönemin dünyası tarafından ne anlama geldiğini hem de Alman idealizminin büyük düşünürü Hegel'in bu karakteri kendi felsefi düşüncesi açısından nasıl ele aldığını göstermeye çalışacağız. Dolayısıyla makale, hem Antik Yunan dünyasının siyasal atmosferinin hem de Hegel'in tarih ve siyaset felsefesinin bir analizini yapmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu anlamda makale iki farklı düşünürün felsefe ve siyaseti algılama biçimini kıyaslamamıza olanak sağlayacaktır.

ABSTRACT
In this article, We aim to interpret the famous Antigone work of Sophocles. We will try to show both what the character of Antigone means by the world of the period and how Hegel, the great thinker of German idealism, dealt with this character in terms of his own philosophical thought. Therefore, the article aims to analyze both the political atmosphere of the Ancient Greek world and Hegel's philosophy of history and politics. In this sense, the article will enable us to compare in which way two different thinkers perceive philosophy and politics.
