ÖZET
İslam dünyası filozofları bilim ve felsefe tarihinde yer alan birçok konu ile ilgili çalışmalar yürütmüştür. Bilim, felsefe, tıp, aritmetik, geometri, müzik gibi birçok alanda çalışma yürütmüş bir bilge olarak Ibn Sina, İslam bilim ve felsefe dünyasının en bilinen isimlerinden birisidir. Bu makalede Ibn Sina‟nın matematik felsefesinin bir çerçevesini sunmayı amaçlıyorum. Bu çerçeve Ibn Sina‟nın matematiksel nesnelerin ontolojisi ve onların nasıl kavrandığı ile ilgili iddialarının güncel matematik felsefesindeki bazı noktalarla ilişkilendirilebileceğini gösterecektir.

ABSTRACT
Philosophers from the Islamic world studied on a number of issues within history of philosophy and of science. Avicenna, as a polymath, is particularly noted for his studies on the philosophy,medicine, arithmetic, geometry, music and he is one of the very well known Muslim philosophers. In this paper, I aim to represent a general frame of his philosophy of mathematics. At the end of the analysis it will be seen that his arguments concerning the ontology of mathematical objects and how to grasp them has direct connections with the issues involved in the modern philosophy of mathematics.
